Rivers or Favre

Which QB should I start? I've generally been playing Rivers, and going with Favre when the match up was right, and have done fairly well doing so.

Both of these guys go up against tough pass defenses this week, and I keep going back and forth over which to start. Now that it's the playoffs, it's easy to second-guess yourself. But, I'm leaning towards Rivers strictly because he's at home.

Please help a brotha out!

Favre loves the spotlight, and it does not get any better than Sunday night. I would definately start Favre.

I would also go with Favre.

It is a tough choice but, Cinci D is not that bad (5th overall and 12th in passing yds).

Carolina does have a tougher passing D but I would go with Favre.

that is tough. Favre in primetime v.s. a tough, very tough pass D or Rivers.


I would do this. If you are going against a strong opponent, I would take the upside of Favre, I mean we all know how he performs in primetime as opposed to a 1 PM game.


if I thought I had a really good chance of winning and my opponent was reaching, I would be safe with Rivers and take the 15+ pts he will give you.

Tough, but if I had to chose between them I'd go Favre...it's the spotlight...no-brainer IMO...good luck and thanks for the help!!!

Not trying to make it tougher for you but I go the other way with Rivers. I agree with the Favre likes the big stage thing but the Panthers can't score that many points and if the Vikes get up the will run AP all day long. The Chargers put a lot of points on the board and this is a big HOME game for them. Anyway for what its worth I like Rivers!
