Charles or Maroney

Postby gogosoul » Thu Dec 17, 2009 11:11 am

I'm trying not to over think this one. I need to start a running back to go along side Moreno. I got Charles and Maroney in consideration.

The debate is this, Charles is coming off of a hot week rushing for 143 yds against BUF (keep this in mind) going against a mediocre Cleveland defense. Maroney is going against BUF defense this week. Buffalo is ranked last in the league against the run - nfl.com. The difference maker is Charles should get the bulk of the carries. Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk threaten Maroney's carries and goal line touches.

This week marks the semi-finals in my league (non-ppr) and I am going up against the no. 1 seed (he's got a tough ass team). What do I do?

Charles, he will touch the ball 20+ times vs Cle!! Maroney yes he is playing buffalo but you never know what NE will do, will they throw 45 times and run maroney 10-15? Charles is hot, start him.
