Flex Starters, Week 15. WHIR

Postby LJcomeback09 » Thu Dec 17, 2009 11:34 pm

In a ppr league (1 reception= 1 yard). 6pt TD's. (10 yards rushing/recieving= 1 point.) Longer TD's get boosts. I have a flex and a WR option to fill. On Flex I can play either a RB/WR/TE.

My Starters
QB- Rodgers vs Pittsburgh
RB- S.Jackson vs Houston
RB- Wells vs Detriot
WR- A.Johnson vs St.Louis
WR- ?
RB/WR/TE- ?
TE- Clark<<<<< Great Game! :-)
K-Bironas
TM- Texans

My Bench
QB- Smith vs Philly
RB- Tomlinson vs Cinci ( Probably the safest bet, but Cinci run D is stout and they have extra motive playing for Henry)
RB- Ganther vs New York G ( Tough run D, but they give up a lot of rushing touchdowns)
RB- Jennings vs KC ( Great matchup, but Cribbs and Harrison could steal the show)
WR- Meachem vs Dallas ( I feel its going to be a shootout Saturday Night)
WR-Holmes vs Green Bay ( Has more than 6 receptions in last few games, but goes up against Charles Woodsen)
TE- Fred Davis vs New York G ( I can start him at the flex position, Giants give up a lot of points to TE's)

LT and Meachem end of story. the only thing close is Jennings and i love LT to step up because he has to. he still has it in him.

I like LT at home, usually gets at least 1 TD there, I can't figure out if Henry thing is a motivation or distraction for them, I would go with Davis at flex, your list is right on with the upside/downside to the other options. My other choice would be the Redskin RB.

I like Ganther and Meachem this week. LT is close, but Jennings we just dont know (too man Rbs vying for touches) and Davis is a TE--I couldn't fathom starting a TE in my flex spot over a WR or RB unless he was elite like Gates or Clark. No on Holmes as well I think Woodson shuts him down for the most part.
