Down big after Thursday, need some help. WHIR

Postby Sex Panther » Sat Dec 19, 2009 11:35 am

Currently down by 39 after Thursday (I started Addai, he started Wayne & MJD).

Here's what I got...

QB McNabb
WR Moss
WR ???
RB Addai
RB ???
TE Davis
F ???
K Longwell
D ???

Okiedokie, got some holes to fill, standard scoring, no PPR.

WR - Megatron, only other WR on my roster is Sims-Walker (who I sat). Megatron is a gametime decison. If he goes I play him and cross my fingers. WW/FA WR available if Megatron can't go:

Walter @ STL
Cribbs @ KC
Chambers vs CLE
Britt vs MIA
Bess @ TEN

Those are the 5 that I would consider.

RB & Flex...

R. Bush vs DAL (tonight)
Foster @ STL
Ganther vs NYG (Monday)
Snelling @ NYJ
Forsett vs TB
Bradshaw @ WAS (Monday)
Jennings @ KC

If Addai had a decent game, I wouldn't be worried, but 6 points from my RB1 is dissapointing - need to maximize points here, had Reggie Bush & Foster penciled in, but after Addai's 6 points, I don't think I can role the dice on Reggie.

D...

I have Green Bay rostered (and strating atm), but Houston is available & the Rams suck & have Swine Flu...

The guy I'm going up against currently has the following strating...

QB Campbell
WR Wayne
WR Henderson
RB MJD
RB Stewart
TE Gonzalez
F Rice (Minnesota version)
K Tynes
D San Fransico

I think I need to pickup Houston regardless so he doesn't start them.

What would you guys do here? WHIR & Thanks.

Britt is the safe play out of those free agents if MT sits.
Go for the home run with Foster and start Forsett as a solid flex play.
TEXANS baby. All the way.

Your opponents team isn't scary in the least bit so you don't have to get crazy but i'd swing for the fences with Foster. Mora just announced that Forsett is getting 50% of the carries this week, plus goal line work and receiving on top of it. He should get you 12-15 imo.

Good luck!

I know your pain; I started Collie and my opponant started Peyton and MSW.

For RB:

Foster: he has lots of upside, but is risky. In this situation (playing catchup) you have to gamble and hope for lightening in a bottle.
A slightly more conservative alternative would be to roll with Jennings Vs KC.

Forsett: I do not like Bush in this matchup and Forsett has a great chance Vs the Bucs.

WR: Hmmm, I do not like Megatron with Culpepper throwing.

Britt would be a fairly safe option, but Cribbs would be the high risk / high reward choice.

Grab Houston Def Now!!! This was a solid matchup, but consider what the flu might add to the opportunity!
