Anyone else watching this? Where in the world did this come from?

I had Nevada as my 32-point confidence pick in the Yahoo Bowl Pick Em. (Highest is 34)
I guess Nevada was dead in the water without Vai Taua and Luke Lippincott.

Boston College is giving USC all they can handle.

Fairly entertaining midday bowl game between Bowling Green and Idaho, all tied up at 14 at the half. Not a bad way to spend a lazy Wednesday at all.

Wow! Bowling Green drives the field and scores the go ahead TD with 30 something seconds left. Then Idaho drives the field, with the benefit of a PI call, get's the TD with 4 seconds left, goes for 2 to win it, and converts. crazy.

Arizona is doing about as well as I expected on offense, the Nebraska defense is just too much for them. Nick Foles(AZ QB) looks like he's running for his life back there....which he is. I'm impressed by the Husker offense, I really thought AZ would hold up and this would be a fairly even defensive show....not the case at all.

I predicted a close game between Nebraska and Arizona, and I figured the Wildcats would win. Our offense has been SO BAD this year....

The one caveat I gave to the Arizona fans I spoke to was that our O Line has been plagued by injuries all season, and if they got healthy in the intervening weeks between the CCG and the bowl game, we could put up a couple of scores.



All I can say is, I did NOT expect this game.

If Nebraska can consistently put up 17-24 points against most everyone next season, we have a legit shot at making the MNC next year.

Suddenly, I can't wait for 2010.

Let's hear it for the service academies! Navy and Air Force, 2-0 in the bowls. Congratulations, even if one of those victories came at the hands of a Big 12 team.

How bout those Hokies?

Tyrod and the passing offense have gotten a lot better this season. I'm really looking forward to next year. The defense hasn't been up to VT's standards this year either and should be better next year. I don't know how they're going to keep Williams, Evans, and Wilson happy next year though.
