This facemask junk has gone too far. It's time to just bring back the 5 yar incidental facemask because refs as a whole are ridiculously incapable of using the rule as it is. Anytime anyone touches the facemask they throw out a 15 yard flag. They never just ignore it like they're directed to now with a minor facemask.

It almost cost Auburn they're game today and now Ohio State is going to get some free points because the refs apparently think that grazing the facemask for 0.01 seconds with your pinky justifies a 15 yard penalty.

Ducks are killing themselves with turnovers. They could be way up in this game. Come on guys. Hold on to the ball.

Edit: I thought Oregon would win this one but Ohio shocked me. They are big and limit the mistakes. Thats why Oregon lost. Too many penalties and turn overs.

I guess pathetic play is the tenor of the season for the Pac-10. A far stretch from 5-0 last year to having only USC look even halfway decent. Canfield and Masoli were the All Pac QBs and both were god awful.

It killed me to do it, but I'm glad the Buckeyes won. All this crap about how the Big 10 is a horrible conference is very annoying, and I'm glad all the teams so far have put up a good showing.

WOOO PENN STATE! ;-D

Chip's done a very nice job this year, but Tressel's game-plan made the difference today... IMHO.

Florida already gets one big break on that play where there was obviously a whistle before the snap.

I don't think the gameplan had anything to do with Masoli looking like he didn't belong on a high school field. Barner kept the Ducks in the game by himself; without his amazing work on special teams this game would have looked much, much worse.

Also, Lance Mitchell would like to welcome Talmadge Jackson into the posterized club. He got absolutely destroyed by that RB in the first quarter.

Didn't belong on a high school field? That's a bit of a stretch. He had a bad game overall but if Dickson makes a few of those catches he usually makes Masoli would have looked a lot better. Really the undoing of the Ducks were penalties and turnovers, as well as good defensive play by Ohio State. No excuses, Oregon simply got beat.
