Stupid me sat Austin last night in favor of Fitzgerald and Marshall. Now, I'm not 100 percent on Fitz and would normally put Rice in his place, but indications are Rice might not be 100 percent either. If Fitz and Rice are out, that leaves me with Mason and Marshall. Not a bad combo, but not my first choice. Comments on how I should proceed? WHIR. Thanks!
i see no reason to sit Austin at this point in the season, especially considering Fitz is banged up... since hindsight is 20/20 and you can't get Austin back in your lineup, roll with Fitz and definitely Marshall and see what happens. Fitz is going to play and he's got a tasty matchup, so don't fret too much.
Fitz will be pulled out of this game if they get up early. Marshall is obvious. Mason is a very conservative play. If you don't go with Fitz, play Rice. Carolina is a nice matchup. But I think I am going playing Fitz today if early word indicates he will start. My other option would be Breaston, which I may do. Tough calls during playoff time is what this is all about!
Start Fitz and Marshall, Fitz is a go. His injury isn't the type that will get worse during the game, he'l just be playing throuugh pain the entire way, but he's a tough sob.
