Hello fellow fantasy players! I've made my league championship game, but am going against the top player in the league (who hasn't lost since week 1!!!). Anyways, would really appreciate your help (will help in return) on my RB / WRs (since the rest of my lineup is pretty much a lock...go Aaron Rodgers).
Standard scoring league (non-PPR), 10 yds = 1pt, Rush/Rec TDs = 6 pts (top guys are the ones I'm currently planning to go with...)
Pick two RB(s): - Ray Rice (at Pitt); I just can't bench the guy... - Jerome Harrison (vs Oak); can't believe I'm thinking of starting a Brown in my championship lineup...but the matchup is so good...hopefully, Mangenius doesn't pull a fast one on me here... - Jamaal Charles (at Cin); really tough run defense at home too - Steven Jackson (at ARI); Arizona was pretty staunch against the run when my Vikes were visiting...and S-Jax has absolutely no help w/ some no-name QB - Beanie Wells (vs STL)
Pick three WR(s): - Randy Moss (vs JAC) - Marques Colston (vs TB) - Donald Driver (vs Sea) - Sidney Rice (at Chi)...even though I'm a Vikes fan, Minny hasn't been doing too good in night/prime-time games this year...and the weather may be nasty in Chicago this time of year
Thanks in advance for your help! Happy holidays everyone!
Pick two RB(s): - Ray Rice (at Pitt); you are right, cant bench him, go with him - Jerome Harrison (vs Oak); dont trust clevland, way too unpredictable. - Jamaal Charles (at Cin); defense too tough - Steven Jackson (at ARI); stl to get shut out - Beanie Wells (vs STL) start him, will get 100 yds and td
Pick three WR(s): - Randy Moss (vs JAC) no brainer, must start - Marques Colston (vs TB) MUST START in a game the need to win - Donald Driver (vs Sea) must start vs WEAK D - Sidney Rice (at Chi)...no need for rice to play if NO wins and weather will be bad
Just debating the potential upside of Harrison vs what I can expect from Beanie (with a little touch of potential fumble-itis mixed in). Thanks for the help, though!
Wow man you got a stud team lol. Pretty much you cant go wrong with your recievers. I like your top 3 options but i think i would go with Sidney Rice over Driver. Next You are right you gotta stick with rice, he might not get 100 yards rushing but i think he gets 125 total with a TD. Its tough between Sjax and Beanie Wells. Wells has a great matchup but so does SJAX....im leaning towards Wells though!
Pick two RB(s): - Ray Rice (at Pitt); gotta play no question - Jerome Harrison (vs Oak); i have him and i really wanna start him over Charles, but it seems that Mangini plays the guy who had the crappy week over the guy who had a good week. Harrison was supposed to start, so jennings get the hand offs, so jennings has a good game so now Harrison gets the handoffs, its a high risk very high reward. - Jamaal Charles (at Cin); i got him too, wanna start but their defense is nuts and has only allowed single digit tds all season - Steven Jackson (at ARI); I dont know, he is the only offense they have and its not like AZ has a great rush defense - Beanie Wells (vs STL) hightower seems to be getting phased out of the offense.
Id go with Rice and Wells, if ur feeling gutsy Rice and Harrison
Pick three WR(s): - Randy Moss (vs JAC) no brainer - Marques Colston (vs TB) gotta start him - Donald Driver (vs Sea) seems to be the go-to guy and seattles defense is turrible. - Sidney Rice (at Chi) i can picture Minn trying to go with the running game considering all the controversy of Favre changing the calls
Percy Harvin looks to be out this week with migraines and a partially herniated disc, so Sidney Rice will get more looks as well as more coverage, but the Bears secondary is garbage, so even if Rice gets the Bears CB1 he'll still rip them up with his speed. Also, in the wake of Farve and Childress's spat they might look to make a statement in this game (throw deep, and run up the score).
Pick two RB(s): - Ray Rice (at Pitt); I just can't bench the guy... - Jerome Harrison (vs Oak); can't believe I'm thinking of starting a Brown in my championship lineup...

I like these matchups for you , I am in the same boat. The guy I am facing lost in week 1 and ran the table!
