For the title: Ben or Alex?

Postby wildsau » Fri Dec 25, 2009 3:26 pm

I have been struggling since semi finals where I let Alex play against Philly while Ben managed to score 40 points against Green Bay.

Now I am still in the same struggle. Alex versus a weak Lions defense or Ben in Baltimore.

I have Frank Gore playing as well so I might be safer using Ben?!

Whats your opinion?

Go with Ben. The Steelers are a pass team first and I think he'll put up very solid numbers. Not 500 yards, 2 or 3 TD's solid... but good enough.

I'd also lean towards Ben. In 3 career games v. BAL, he has 7 TDs to 1 INT and has avgd 215yds per game. And that was when BAL was a run-first offense. He probably has 275 w/ 2-3 TDs. Solid. Not sure Gore won't take away TD pass attempts from Smith. Note that 3rd stringer Dixon had 17FPts v. BAL when PIT played them earlier.

I am in a similar situation, but with a better QB and a tougher matchup (Eli v. CAR). I'm leaning on Ben v. BAL over Eli v. CAR. Thoughts?
