Fantasy championship! Who should I start?:

Carson Palmer vs. KC
Alex Smith vs. DET

Carson Palmer is notorious in my league for f***ing me in important games.... so I've been hesitant to play him. But he has a pretty decent matchup vs. KC. Alex Smith is playing Detroit, and has posted up scores in my league of 21, 17, 18, 11, 4 the past 5 weeks, and has an appetizing matchup vs. Detroit.

I hate trusting my team to Carson because of the inconsistency that he has plagued me with the past 2 years, but Alex Smith????

Please guide me to victory!

Haven't been pleased with Palmer of late. The Bengals could simply hand off to Benson and LJ and maybe toss a couple to Cinco. Try Smith vs an awful Lions pass D. GL.

Smith you cannot trust that Palmer throws for over 100

Smith all the way in this one. I think the Bengals will just try to hand the ball off all game long after seeing what Cleveland did to them.

I have the same dilemma in my championship matchup. While I know Alex Smith has a great matchup, Palmer really impressed me last week vs. the Chargers defense. I actually played Smith last week over Palmer, and that nearly cost me my spot in the championship.

I might just end up playing Palmer this week, as when I try to overmanage, it typically backfires.
