Happy New Years Eve to all. Have a safe and enjoyable time.
I'm heading over to some friends of mine who are hosting. Pool, cards, light to moderate drinking. We're all too old to party like those ingrat kids these days do.

This...is incredibly depressing to me for some reason. Maybe because I'm almost 32 and I can picture myself saying something like this sooner rather than later.
Anyway, Happy NYE!
I'll be on one of these in the Marina, crapface drunk (hopefully not falling over into shark infested water).
just chillen and watching some Yo Gabba Gabba with Lambs Jr before we go out to see some family for appetizers, cards, Super Mario Wii and booze...most likely the wife will be driving home, although i may go light tonight since tomorrow we're going to see some friends for an all day apetizer, football and booze party, so i dont want to piss her off tonight (especially since when we went to the same friends house a few weeks ago i really pissed her off by drinking a tad too much)

Hey, ya can't have highs without the lows, my friend.
Went out to a see a band last night with the missus while nanny watched the little tyke, got our drank on and had a blast! Rang in the new year tonight watching the Twilight Zone marathon.
This is what you do when you get old and have a kid.
was at friends, who had a house full of folks all of whom know each other. We played Rock Band for six hours... I kid you not. that game is FUN. Switching out our 'bands' to compete, etc. I maxed 100% on vocals for Blue Oyster Cult and Red Hot Chili Peppers, but oddly tanked on Bon Jovi. Mostly though I played the drums. Drinking was in moderation and made it home safe, so I won't be starting the new year with a hangover, which is always nice.
