Rice is in a much better offense, but mcgahee could be even more of a TD vulture next year. I think KC will improve the Oline through the draft, but that might be more than a 1 year fix.
deangelo williams broke out in 2008, and was still pretty solid in 2009. so there are just as many arguements for Charles as against.
BTW, In a dynasty league I just offered DWill for Charles.(Yes, I might be crazy, but Stewart is the future in Car, and I think Charles is IT in KC.)

hmm. thats a pretty bold move. deangelo is a homerun hitter. I think he'd more likely to get traded than beat out by Stewart. I cant remember when his contract is up, but there's not much dropoff from him to Stewart. Both are young players. You might could get more for Deangelo. maybe a throw-in with Charles?

It is a Dynasty league, I won the championship this year, and I also have Gore and MJD, so I thought I could risk the chance. ?

with Gore and MJD, you can definitely afford to take the chance. but if i were going to trae a pro-bowl guy liek deangelo id want a little more of a lower risk, high reward player, maybe hinge my bet with a young throw-in WR or backup Qb with potential to start down the road. Not saying Charles doesnt have a high ceiling and may have a better season/career than Deangelo, my thinking is that at this time in their careers,Deangelo's trade value is much higher than Charles so id try to get more for him. (maybe thats just in my mind. i know nobody was beating down my door to trade for Charles). I even offered a guy (and luckily for me he turned it down) Charles for Dwayne Bowe around week 8 or 9!! i thought i was set at RB and needed another WR for the playoffs so it made sense at the time. I also tried to trade him for jonathan Stewart and was turned down.(this was even before Deangelo was hurt).
Charles has come on strong since those trades were rejected, but i still think there are alot of people thinking Charles is a flash in the pan, so id try to get him cheaper if i were you.

Well, i am a risk taking owner and once I make my decision, I don't look back. Guess we'll need to check back a year from now... IF the other guy accepts the trade. In the meantime, check out my NEW leauges tread in Classified.

nothing wrong with taking risks, you have to sometimes. But why not try to get max value out of your trade? get a throw-in player, and you have some wiggle room if Charles doesnt pan out.
it reminds me of a guy earlier this year who was convinced this was going to be mark Clayton's breakout year, so he traded Colston for him strait up. i dont have a problem with him trusting his hunch on Clayton, i have a problem with him trading Colston so cheap, when he coudl have gotten Clayton + another prospect for Colston. (then when clayton didnt pan out he had no other Wr to fall back on) I see your trade as potentially the same way. Its an unnecessary risk when you should be able to get Charles much cheaper.
