not sure what the scoring is, but i think it's pretty hard to trade Brees. you would have a nice upgrade at RB though...i think it depends on scoring if qb's get 4 pts/td.... then yes. if they get 6 pts/TD.... no. however, i think forte has a good chance to bounce back next year. i've heard he played hurt all year and things are going to change on the offensive side for the bears, big time.
Keep Forte....he sprained his mcl in week 3 and kept playing. Forte is going to bounce back....and you're in a PPR format. He finished the year third among RB's in receptions even though the O line was a disaster. I'd stay put.
I Get Garrard <--ick Barber <--inconsistent McCoy <--potential, but risky Kevin Smith <--OK, but doesn't do a lot for me, personally 12 overall rookie pick <--crapshoot
As disappointing as Forte was this year, I wouldn't have anything to do with this deal.
You don't have a decent backup to Brees, stay FAR away.
You have some holes on your team for sure, but you need to trade Brees and get two huge upgrades to your team. If you cannot get a stud WR, quality TE, and decent RB2 out of the deal forget it.
You might want to try something like this:
Brees/Schefler/Burleson/F. Jones for Cutler/Charles/VJax/Celek type of deal.
