In a 12 team league with standard scoring that starts 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 K, and 1 DEF. We keep 4. My possible keepers: Maurice Jones-Drew Drew Brees Jamaal Charles Knowshon Moreno Sidney Rice Wes Welker (not really anymore)
As of now, I think I would keep those MJD, Brees, Charles, and Moreno. I also might be able to get Andre Johnson or Fitz for Brees and Rice, or I could stick with my 4 keepers and trade Rice for like a 3rd rounder (which is like a 7th rounder in a redraft). What would you do?

You have the correct 4 keepers, IMHO. If you can get one of those WRs for Brees and Rice, I would do that in a heartbeat as well.
i also like your keepers, but wouldn't be too quick to get rid of Brees...he is the best at his position, But why wouldn't you try to deal one of your RB's if you want a WR? You can only start 2. However i can see your reasoning if QB scoring is less valuable than WR's?RB's. I'd target AJ before Fitz. thanks for the input on mine!

We start a flex, so it is smart to have 3 very good running backs because you can get screwed if you are starting 4 WRs instead, so I am much less inclined to trade them. I'm also very high on Charles and Moreno for next season. I tried trading MJD and Rice for Chris Johnson, but that didn't work.
QBs do usually score more than other players, but I can always draft someone like Big Ben or Favre that will have a good year.
