I dont follow college ball close enough to say who coming out is pegged as a true #1 CB. I will watch the combine and listen to the "experts" like Mayock and Kiper. I do agree about reaching though. That never works out.. I always think back to the 1999 draft when the Steelers were in dire need of a WR.. Every pegged them for Holt and when he was taken by the Rams (6th or 7th if I recall). Then the Steelers reached for Troy Edwards and we all know how that turned out. Even though there are needs in certain defensive positions, I hope they still stay with the philosiphy of "Best Player Available." It would be a bonus if that player fills a position of need.. ;-D

I'd love to see them resign Clark. He's a good safety. If they resign Hampton, it will be for only a few years, then they need to get a young guy in to groom.
