Have to protect a Def

Postby TheWarlock187 » Fri Jan 08, 2010 6:13 pm

In my dynasty league we have to keep a def from season to season, and this year was a by comity def for me which of these 3 has the most upside for next season.

Chargers, 49ers, Bills

49ers came up big for me the last two weeks of the season, but they were also play the Rams and Lions so don't know how much stock can be put into that.

Leave a link if you would like for me to comment on your situation.

This is tough. SD will play the easier schedule than the Bills or Niners and have been hot lately. I'd probably pick SD or the Niners.

I think that the 49ers could actually have a very good season next year if have a good draft / free agency period. They still get to play Seattle and St Louis twice a year and with a few players they could jump into the top tier of defenses. I think that with the way that defenses come and go from year to year that you can almost chose between SF and SD knowing that you will still have a defense or two available in free agency. I'm going for SF. Good luck.

Well the other NFC West teams appear to be in shambles, and even more so in Zona if Warner does indeed retire (which is the way its looking now). I would do this: keep SF def.
