I am the absolute worst math-doing kind of dude on the planet so I took statistics as my electives and barely managed to make it through that. You're already way beyond what I could ever do with numbery manipulations.

I loathed calculus, but I loved Statistics. That, proofs, and my finance courses (I also earned a business degree) were my favorite math classes.

I'm currently attempting to get into the nursing program. I've got most of my prerequisites already out of the way....well except for my A&P classes. As far as math I have to finish the class I'm in now, and Statistics, and then I'm done with math. The good news is that for my degree they don't care about a letter grade for both of these math classes, so I can do the pass/no pass thing. That's gonna be my saving grace. :-°

I have to go back to when you 'came back' full force a few years back. From what I understand you joined, then kind of disappeared for a while, then came back to stay. Anyway, in recalling when you came back I remember thinking "man, is this guy another moonhead or what?! Dammit!". Haha, thanks for putting up with me and all these other wackos around here and stay easy man, you have no idea what a gift that is. ;-D

And marry that beautiful girl already! :-D

Yeah, yeah. When laid out on your back struggling to breath you aren't going to give a crap what gender the person is that's keeping you alive. Also I'm OK for with the starting salary for RNs....especially OR RNs. ;-D

My cousin was a nurse for many years. He was a Marine before that, and he would go out for nightly jogs after Basic was over for the day. He could hold himself parallel to the ground from a pole he couldn't wrap his hand all the way around (think about how hard that is) and do it over and over to entertain us younger cousins. Dude is 50-53 now and could pound most anyone here into the ground without breaking a sweat, no exaggeration.

There's nothing unmanly about being a nurse.

Absolutely not. Personally though I welcome the stigma that nursing is unmanly, or "women work". Less competition from other males in the field. ;-D
