dynasty trade - Brees/Charles/Calvin involved WHIR

Postby Larryalcohol323232 » Wed Jan 13, 2010 6:33 pm

Should I take this or am I giving up to much? I was thinking of countering without my 2012 1st involved and he has already told me he would reject it. Should I just pass?

I get Brees, Forte & his 2011 1st rounder.

I give Palmer, Jamal Charles, Calvin Johnson and a 2012 1st and 2nd rounder.

Starting requirements are 1 QB 2 Rb 3 WR 1TE 1 K 1 DEF.

Points 6 for all TD's, 1 point for 25 passing, 1 for 10 rushing/receiving, 1 PPR
We also get 2 points for milestones 300 passing and 100 rushing/receiving

My current roster is (believe it or not I won it all this year)

Favre, Brett MIN QB

Leinart, Matt ARI QB

Palmer, Carson CIN QB

Sanchez, Mark NYJ QB

Bell, Kahlil CHI RB

Brown, Donald IND RB

Charles, Jamaal KCC RB

Choice, Tashard DAL RB (P)

Fargas, Justin OAK RB

Maroney, Laurence NEP RB

Scott, Bernard CIN RB

Wells, Chris ARI RB

Westbrook, Brian PHI RB

Avery, Donnie STL WR

Branch, Deion SEA WR

Edwards, Braylon NYJ WR

Holmes, Santonio PIT WR

Johnson, Calvin DET WR

Sims-Walker, Mike JAC WR

Scaife, Bo TEN TE

Witten, Jason DAL TE

Crosby, Mason GBP PK

Packers, Green Bay GBP Def

Texans, Houston HOU Def

Well to me this is really a trade for Brees and I don't think that you really need to make this move. There is talk that Warner is set to retire this off season and it will leave you with some solid options at qb with Palmer, Leinart and Sanchez. I'm not sold on Forte, mainly because there offensive line is a complete mess, they can't run block and Chicago has not early draft picks because of the Cutler trade, so this may not change for another few years. I would stick with what you have for now.

The Palmer to Brees upgrade is huge, but I think you are giving way too much. We know Calvin can be big if he can just stay healthy. And it's scary to think what Charles might be able to do. I'd sit pat.

Return the favor?

Heck no, to handle this hazmat you need a gas mask/respirator and protective lead suit. NO WAY.

Palmer, Jamal Charles, Calvin Johnson and a 2012 1st and 2nd rounder
is the best side by far.

I think I'd rather have Charles, Megatron and two top picks.
