12 Team PPR. Finished 8-5 made playoffs lost first round. What should I do?? Go for Youth? or Go for championship. Should I trade any of my WR's??? Let me know. WHIR!!!!!!!!!! Heres my team:
Aaron Rodgers Alex Smith Joseph Addai Ronnie Brown Marion Barber Tashard Choice Felix Jones Roy Williams Greg Jennings Reggie Wayne TJ Houshmanzadeh Brandon Pettigrew Dustin Keller Robbie Gould Green Bay Defense Denver Defense
My Draft Picks: 1.07, 2.07, 3.07, 4.07
Trade Offers I've seen.
1. Reggie Wayne and Felix Jones for Michael Turner, Donald Driver, 1.02. 2. Greg Jennings and Felix Jones for Jonathan Stewart, Donnie Avery, 2.11.
I really don't want to hurt my WR's anymore but I would have 1.02 and 1.07 and possibly could get 2 WR's. Let me hear some ideas on what to do. My idea is to trade one RB for WR.

Neither trade is appealing. Wayne still has a few years & Jones will be one of the main cogs in BigD while Turner is coming off injury and Driver is slowing down (maybe even retire soon), so it'll be Wayne & Jones for the 1.02. The other trade is not worth discussing.
You actually have exactly the same situation as I did (Barber, Jones, & Choice) were on my team and in reality they tied up my team (in roster spots). Because of the split carries and basically seeing it not changing in the near future in BigD, I packaged all three along with a wr (I'd try TJ in your case) and traded for a more feature rb (ended up with Ray Rice). Without seeing the rest of your leagues teams and if your league does, I'd check out each team and see who you might be able to swing a deal like that as not only would you get a more featured rb, but frees up spaces on your roster to make possible pickups (like Lex Hilliard......Ricky is retiring(?), Ronnie's injury is apparently worse than first expected, & the only other rb is P.Cobbs who is also hurt.....or Arian Foster who could be the featured back in Houston now that Kubiak is coming back as coach.....& for wr, keep an eye on the likes of Brandon Gibson, James Jones (depending upon Driver), Jacoby Jones, Julian Edelman (with Welker out), Chaz Schilens, Early Doucet (depending upon Boldin), & a sleeper in Brandon Tate (especailly with Welker hurt & Moss getting older....note that he was the best wr coming out of North Carolina before he got hurt).
A thought, since you are a fellow Packer-Backer, is J.Finley available? Reason I asked is, can your league start two te's? If wr's in your league are slim pickings, remember te's like Finley & Celek who get wr #'s (Celek was = to Jennings in the leagues I was in). I gave up a second round pick for Celek in a trade, so maybe you can do the same. Fred Davis is another to keep an eye on.
Also, Roy Williams.....get rid of that bum.....what a bust (& I ain't talking about women...lol, though he plays like one....ouch, I know).....trade him for what ever you can get and pickup a potential talent mentioned above.....or even Kevin Ogletree who is getting more playing time in BigD........
Obviously, you actually have many options as I suggested above.....just depends on what you feel comfortable with and how brave you are with trading and taking chances.
I wouldn't do any of those trades. If I had your team I would try to trade the Cowboys RBs for a solid starter or maybe somehow you can add Brown to that mess. Your WRs are such a strength on your team that I wouldn't want to break those up without getting a stud RB in return.
1- You have the Dallas RB group and it will be good next year with Jones and Barber 2- R. Brown is no dud... he is injured but when healthy you must play him. 3- Jennings and Wayne are at the top of their game and they have 2 of the top 4 QB's in the league throwing them the ball.
Every year you will have the opportunity to pick up a RB from the WW or in the draft that are true sleepers. This year it was J. Charles, C. Benson, R. Rice, etc.... The main RB's that where offered to you trade (Turner and Stewart) are not worth the risk. You have the RB's on your team with the same upside and prospective value.
I'm not a fan of any of these deals. One thing I would try to do is to turn the Dallas RB committee into one dependable starter somehow. As long as all three RBs are there in Dallas, they neutralize each other as fantasy starters.
