Gave away a lot now for big reward in 2011

Would you have done this trade?

I traded LeSean McCoy and Pierre Thomas for the 2010 1.01 where I will draft Mark Ingram. We can have up to 5 developmental players (college) on our rosters and can draft those players even though they aren't in the NFL draft yet. Ingram wasn't drafted in our startup draft in 2009. I made it to the Super Bowl in our inaugural season this past year. We start 1 to 4 RBs, so I have plenty with Mendenall, S Greene, A Bradshaw, and I have Javid Best who I drafted as a dev player in the initial startup draft last year. The highlights of the rest of my team are A Rodgers, A Boldin, G Jennings, H Nicks, V Davis, J Cook, and Bryce Brown (college player)

A couple of things to remember: 1. If Ingram stays for his senior year he won't be in the draft until 2012, 2. There is no guarantee that you will hae the first or second pick in order to draft him.

No, I already have the 1.01 pick in 2010 and we can draft dev players from college no matter what year they are in, or I wouldn't have made the deal to obtain the pick. Also, no way in hell he stays his senior year. 2010 will be his last year in college, bank on it. If not, then I'll have him the year after.
