It's the off-season and I'm debating whether to add a few pieces to my dynasty team. Nothing too exciting, just moving around players that will likely never amount to anything. Standard 6 pts for TD, non-ppr, 10 team dynasty league. So my question is this: Should I add Delhomme, Brady Quinn, Mike Bell or Peyton Hillis (I have Harrison), and if so, who should I drop?
My team:
QB: Peyton Manning (Drew Brees, Charlie Whitehurst, Dennis Dixon)
RB: Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson (Steven Jackson, Lesean Mccoy, Jerome Harrison, Marshawn Lynch, Pierre Thomas, Jason Snelling, Lex Hillard)
WR: Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, Desean Jackson (Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings, Kenny Britt, Kevin Ogletree, Bernard Berrian, Devon Hester, Chaz Schilens)
TE: Dallas Clark (Owen Daniels, Tony Scheffler)
Def: none (Will have to pick one up before the season)
K: none (Will have to pick one up before the season)

all 4 have greater value to your team than charlie whitehurst imo... probably dixon too but than again you never know what big ben will be up to next... either way chances are neither of those qbs ever see the field in the nfl
Whitehurst has some value as someone who could emerge as a starting QB. Much more upside than Quinn.
Hilliard has some value as a RB in a rush-heavy Miami offense, especially if Brown doesn't return ready to play.
I think you could maybe justify dropping Ogletree for Hillis, as you also have Harrison. I see Hillis and see a Mike Alstott-type of hybrid RB/FB.... he could be a very good RB (and TD vulture) in the right scenario... and it's just too early to tell what's going to happen in CLE with Holmgren bringing in "his" guys.
I would hang onto Whitehurst. He is likely going to sign an offer sheet with the Cards or Seahawks and the Chargers won't match it according to NFL network. he has a chance to start in both spots. I would drop D. Dixon and add Quinn.
Well I think I may add Quinn and stash him on your roster and see if McDaniels can do any work with him. I don't see many of the other guys having much value, and with the depth of your team you won't need them either. If this were my team I would look to trade away Manning or Brees, get a top young qb in the draft and get another quality player for either of them. Good luck.

I would strongly disagree, noting that none of the above possess the value Whitehurts possesses. Why dump potential for known junk?
I think you should stick with what you have. You have a solid group there. I agree with an earlier poster who said your team is the best I have ever seen! The guys you are looking at have 0 value. Don't waste the energy.
how is the world did u end up with that roster..even in a 10 team league...... Any open spots in the league..i would be happy to take of advantage of the players there too..lol....
