Not the forum for this, but St. Paddy's Day is long over, so we might as well keep this going. ;-D

I still like and drink beer. Miller Lite only has 3 carbs. Mich Ultra has less but tastes terrible. I've never been a beer snob, though. I'm not much into micro-breweries, don't have to drink premium and imported stuff (though I do like a Heinekin with a good steak). I'm mostly into Miller Lite on hot days while I'm on my riding mower or when I'm eating. But drinking beer when I want to get buzzed isn't my thing. I just like liquor took much. Rum, vodka, gin, tequila, and all the great concoctions that can be created from it. The possibilities are endless! ;-D :-D B-) ;-D

I'm not a beer snob either. I know my beer, and I like a lot of micro brews, but I'll drink a PBR or a Hamms just the same and be happy. I don't know how it is in other parts of the country but here on the west coast (Northwest especially) there is a huge Hops revolution going on. It seems like every brewery has to make the most hoppy beer they can. And for some reason the masses eat it up, it's almost like it's the cool thing to do. To me it tastes like butt when it's too hoppy. To each their own though.

I'm not really an IPA or double IPA drinker for that reason. Nice change of pace from the stouts and Belgian-styled brews I enjoy, but I think those styles are more balanced and/or they just suit my taste better.

Yeah I'll drink an IPA or double IPA every now and again, same with stouts for me. But really my favorites are pilsners and lagers, I like my beer crisp and clean. I'll usually just order whatever the "golden" is on tap. I love a good wheat or Amber too....really I like all beer. :-B

Haha I'm with you. Being in the prime of my drinking career (just finished college), it takes me far too many beers to get a buzz going. I end up feeling so full and gross. Liquor is definately my "get drunk" choice. However, if I'm just relaxing watching some hockey or March Madness or whatever season it is, I go with beer. I'm not really too adventurous with it though, mostly just the domestic stuff like Molson Canadian, Labatt Blue, Budweiser, etc. My buddy who went to France last year recommended a really good beer called Kronenburg. I can't remember where its from but its a nice lager.

It all depends on occasion too. Whenever I'm at the game, I don't mind the macro lagers if they're the best beers available. At Dodger Stadium, all I drink is either Gordon Biersch or Blue Moon and I'm happy. When I'm at the pub/bar, a Guinness or a Newcastle really hits the spot while watching the game. For everything else, I'd rather have a stout or Belgian ale, something a bit fancy schmancy. :-b

You and Met should date.

You see, I know what you're doing. This is just some of your reverse psychology. You think by saying that "I should date someone else", I'll finally ask you out. It's not gonna happen scott, I like you but I don't wanna ruin our friendship. :-/
