Scoring Rules

Looking to expand to 12 owners. This is how the expansion draft will run:
1) each original team has submitted a 2-player protected list, from which the expansion teams can't select players;
2) none of the original teams can lose more than 3 players. Once that third player is selected, the entire roster is locked;
3) the expansion teams will be able to select from unprotected players currently on rosters and free agents.

I am interested

Couple questions:

are all players kept from year to year (ie dynasty)?

It seems like many of the teams were balanced last year, but im confused about how expansion teams taking the 3rd-5th best player from each of your rosters will be fair for the current managers. Its like giving the current players 1st and 2nd rd picks and no 3-5 rd picks...seems like it could cause problems. Am i reading this wrong?

A number of people have asked about the keeper rules-
A) no player drafted in the first three rounds can be kept;
B) a maximum of 3 players can be kept;
C) keeping a player costs a draft pick 2 rounds higher than had been used to retain/draft him the previous year;
D) a player can be kept for a maximum of 3 times, unless retaining him the previous year cost a 3rd round pick or higher;
E) undrafted players cost an 18th round pick this season.

Is the rookie draft following the expansion draft to refill there rosters?

1- Teams have already submitted which 2 players they want protected. They can't be selected in the expansion draft.
2- Then, we'll have an expansion draft for the new teams. They can select unprotected players currently on original teams' rosters and free agents.
3- Shortly before the yearly draft, teams will declare their 3 keepers. All unkeepered players are then thrown back into the pool.
4- Then, we draft.

The award structure will be different from last year, since we'll have more teams.
