* Oakland signed free agent quarterback Kyle Boller.

Boller will be added to the quarterback mix with former No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell, Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye.

Boller, who played in seven games for St. Louis last season, never lived up to the billing after being drafted 19th overall by Baltimore in 2003.

Oakland is putting a bandaid on the wound. Problem is bandaids never last long. Al Davis is so stupid. Just hire a GM already. This team has a huge problem. These high paid early first round picks are not panning out and it is really hampering the team from being able go anywhere.
