McNabb lobbies to bring TO to Washington

Postby joejlitz » Tue Apr 20, 2010 9:30 pm

That's forgiveness right there, straight out of the New Testament. After all the turmoil and criticism created by Owens, it's shocking McNabb wants him in WAS. I suppose he just wants to keep winning. But why not have gotten WAS to get Tory Holt (prior to the NE signing) or some other aging superstar than TO?

"Donovan McNabb, Mike Shanahan douse theory of Redskins' interest in Terrell Owens"

McNabb told the Washington Post that an ESPN report that he was encouraging the team to acquire Owens was untrue.

Washington coach Mike Shanahan told the Post that the team had decided not to pursue Owens and would not be considering signing him right now.

The article I read on Pro Football talk said that Shannahan isn't exactly going through the teams suggestion box.

Not happening. Look for Devin Thomas to be a steal in redrafts in the 10th round.
