McCoy for Barber and 12th overall

Postby Swipe79 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 5:32 pm

I have an offer from a team:

I send him Lesean McCoy and receive Marion Barber and the 12th overall pick in the draft. To me, it's not a bad offer...not sure that I am inclined to take it as is. Any opinions on it? The team offering the deal also has the 4th and 8th overall picks.

This is a 12 team keeper league, we start 2 RB every week. My keepers at RB were Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore, Jamal Charles, LeSean McCoy, Shonn Greene, and Fred Jackson. We keep up to 20 (I had 16 this year) and are given picks if we keep fewer.

Scoring for RB is 1 pt for every 33 yards receiving/rushing, 1 pt per TD, .5 pt per 2-pt conversion, -1 pt per fumble.

I have the 6th overall pick from another trade. The only players likely to benefit my team would be rookies, but there are a few good IDP players available as well (I draft defense late usually).

My total keeper list is:
QB - Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Cassell
RB - Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore, Jamal Charles, Lesean McCoy, Shonn Greene, Fred Jackson
WR - Sidney Rice, Dwayne Bowe, Hines Ward, Donald Driver, Jeremy Maclin
TE - Owen Daniels, Jermichael Finley
LB - Brian Cushing

I'm trying to work a deal for a QB as well...

Forgot to add that the other team has this roster:

QB - Kevin Kolb, David Garrard
RB - Marion Barber, Jeriome Harrison
WR - DeSean Jackson, Steve Smith, Robert Meachem

Kolb, Jackson, Smith he probably will not trade...

I myself am not to high on Marion Barber...Felix Jones is going to see the majority of the carries this year when the ball is not in the air, which it will be alot. If i were you, i would go after Desaun Jackson and try and improve your wr position and get a pick, you seem to be set at runningback and i dont see any use of taking on a dwindling back like Marion Barber.

Hope this helps..
