It's good but it's CONFUSING - WHIR

Postby OlympiqueKEJB » Wed May 05, 2010 12:04 pm

I am in a PPR league, with 12 teams in the league. This year we are introducing a flex option. I can keep 4 of these 5. If you were I, which dude are you going to let become dust in the wind?

Tony Romo - 373 pts
Michael Turner - 158 pts
DeAngelo Williams - 208 pts
Miles Austin - 284 pts
Roddy White - 273 pts

Pts totals are theirs from last season.

Right now I am leaning towards not keeping Miles Austin, but could use another brain on this.

Romo. I am a firm believer that you can get a quality QB later in drafts. Depending on where you draft and the projected players to be available, you could probably still get Romo with your 1st (5th) round pick.

I agree with this.

Yes I know your QBs score a lot... but unless you are required to start 2 QBs, you are better off keeping the other 4.

Yea, regardless of how much more pints they put up, it's about "positional scarcity", as in how much difference in points, maybe not how many total points a person will put up at any given position. Drop Romo, even though he'll be playing a home Super Bowl this season B-)
