1.02 dynasty. Who to target? (WHIR)!!!

League scoring (for positions I am targeting) is broken down like this.

WR
1 point per reception
1 point per 10 rec yards
6 point per TD

RB
1 point per reception
1 point per 10 rec yards
6 point per TD

My Team: Here is my current sqaud

QB: McNabb, Sanchez, Whitehurst
RB: Tomlinson, Reggie Bush, Rashad Jennings
WR: Hines Ward, Santana Moss, T.O. (If he ever signs with someone). Darrius Heyward Bey.
TE: Shockey, Cooley

Looking at this team I think it is pretty safe to say that I need a RB first and a WR in the second round. I have the #2 pick and I am pretty sure Ryan Matthews will go number 1. If he does fall to me at #2 I will scoop him up. My problem is if he goes at #1 it leaves me with Spiller and Best for the #2 pick. Who should I pick? Secondly, Which WR's should I target in the second round?

Be sure to check out the threads are posted in the Leftovers Section of the Cafe. There is some really good stuff in there as they vote on who should be drafted at what position.

With that said, I think Best is the Best option at #2

Best will have little competition and get the majority of work - they will still rotate in Smith and Morris, but until we see how Smith is doing after his surgery, I think it is Javhid's job to lose.

Well I'm assuming that Matthews is going to be the first pick to go, he will have the best situation to play in. I do like Spiller, but if they don't trade away Lynch then it will be a very crowded backfield which could limit his touches. I like Best at #2, he will most likely start the season with Smith coming back from a acl. He was going to be a Heisman hopeful before the concussion and was considered a top rb in college, so Detroit may have a quality rb to go with Calvin and Stafford. Good luck.

Matthews and Best are the two top rookies, and then there is a drop IMHO.

You absolutely need to add one of the two at the 1.2 spot.

Take best available player (likely a WR) with your 2nd round pick.
