Just a heads up since the draft is coming 2 a close, I posted a summary of draft prospects for 2011 to get an early look and I just wanted to share it with the dynasties that I'm in.

Most of you already know those prospects, if you disagree feel free to get some debate going, just a sample of what's to come. Still haven't finished the QB's yet but RB's and WR's are done.

Me 2, if I knew Tate was going to fall to 6 I would of gladly kept this pick and not tried 2 trade up to 1.04 so bad since you outbid me :-° Lol, I am happy about this pick though.

3 weeks later..

I was undecided on the 2 and like McCluster's possibilities. I fought with myself over Tate as well, but we'll see who ends up better. I'd like to see McCluster with RB and WR eligibility to give me more options as well.

I'm on vacation Sun - Thurs. It would be awesome if everything was set by end of Thursday so I could finalize the rosters. I'll PM the other guys too.

Re: SCHEDULE POST-DRAFT

So right now all players are locked, and I'm not able to place a waiver claim. We are opening this Wednesday, correct?

The tag says that the "Draft hasn't taken place yet". My guess is Commish Options-->Edit Rosters-->"These are the complete rosters for the season" option and save.

How was that last trade approved? Seemed quite lopsided to me :-? Especially when they cut three players received in the deal. What am I missing?

I was over the roster limit, I needed to cut somebody. What's the big deal? I've seen far worse, and if it gets 5 vetoes it'll get vetoed. I traded for a guy I will start, and didn't trade anyone else I was going to start, that I obviously feel very high on.

Jason Elam K ATL from Irish Monkeys
Buffalo Bills TM BUF from Irish Monkeys
Jason Avant WR PHI from Irish Monkeys
Hakeem Nicks WR NYG from Irish Monkeys
Nate Davis QB SF from Irish Monkeys
James Davis RB CLE from Irish Monkeys

for

Chris Cooley TE WAS from Lone Star State
Kevin Walter WR HOU from Lone Star State
Santonio Holmes WR NYJ from Lone Star State
Justin Forsett RB SEA from Lone Star State
Chaz Schilens WR OAK from Lone Star State
Mike Wallace WR PIT from Lone Star State
2011 3rd round pick #6 (30th overall) from Lone Star State

I don't see one player that Lone Star received that was worth anything. Isn't Nicks out the entire season? Meanwhile, Irish gets a stud TE, a very good WR (albeit with a four game suspension), an up and coming WR in Wallace, a serviceable starting RB in Forsett AND a pick? Maybe I am off base but I would have veteod that.

I don't see what the big deal is here. Sure, I raised my eyebrow at the deal when I first saw it. LS2 gives up a lot for what appears to be little.

But he's super high on Nicks as is stated here and in a topic in Football Talk and the cumulative talent he's giving up is deceptive since as he explained, he believes he's getting a long-term quality starter for bench players.

I think it's obvious LS2 truly beleives he's improved his team and therefore the trade isn't veto-worthy.

BTW it's Hixon who's out for the season.
