Thanks fellas... them's some good words and I appreciate it.
We got an e-mail from a project coordinator and they arrived in-country on Sunday. Sounds like all is well and they are working the care-points. We probably won't won't get more than weekly updates as there are no phones/internet where they are. It's kinda surreal and hard to believe that my little baby is way the heck over there right now. Just... wierd for a dad...
Yo, Met... thanks for the sig! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You might have a future Peace Corps enlistee on your hands! That's some very rewarding stuff she is doing that she'll remember for the rest of her life.

A friend of mine is currently in Africa as part of a UN tribunal prosecuting Rwandan war criminals. It's a differernt world from the US, but he says well worth the experience. I'm her experience doing what she's doing will be much different than what he's gone through, but an awesome life experience for sure!
In other daughter news, I caught my daughter this morning eating fistfulls of cake out of the garbage, after knocking the garbage over and crawling into the bag. I'm not sure she could do anything to make me more proud.
Well, today held an exciting surprise in the Nfl Fan house. I woke up to the first contact I've had with my daughter in over three weeks. The team has left the Nsoko area (no phones or internet) and Shawnte fired off an email from an internet cafe in Manzini. She is doing GREAT and promises to have dozens of stories to tell.
She flies in this Tuesday... I can't wait!
Yo, Met... thanks for the sig! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's back! Picked her up at the airport yesterday and took her to lunch and shopping for groceries and stuff. Was sooo great to see her and hear all the stories.
Nfl Fan = happy dad!
