J ADDAI + D. BROWN VALUE

Postby lylefish » Sat May 08, 2010 9:40 am

I am looking to trade Joe Addai and Don Brown for a WR. Does the value of the tandem equal a top ten receiver? Or do I need to package draft picks with the rb pair?

I think a top 10 receiver is attainable for them but you may have to target a RB starved team. Addai is up for renewal after this year I believe and Indy will have to see what Brown will do. It's an interesting situation and if I needed RB's I would cut a deal with you as I think they are both capable backs, not stellar but capable.

Good advice. If you can attain a top-10 WR for that combo, it's a good deal as it helps out your team. Or you can sit on both and see what shakes out after the 2010 season... you may end up with 2 starting RBs if Addai is released or traded.

I would NOT give up a top 10 WR for those two. The reason is because they play for the same team, and neither can be trusted as a #1 RB, IMO. Try shopping Addai and Wells, I think you can get a lot more for those 2 then Addai/Brown.
