I like Spiller long-term in a Dynasty PPR. If you want to try & win next year, Best would be preferrable.
However, Detroit has had bad luck with young RB's (Kevin Jones and now Kevin Smith), and Smith may return better than anticipated from his knee injury.
Have you considered Houston's Ben Tate? Texans' HC Gary Kubiak's job could be on the line this year and Kubiak seems to have little confidence in his other backs. Tate was a 2nd rd choice so I think he will be given every opportunity to succeed. Tate won't be much help with PPR, but Tate could easily top 1,000 yards and 8 TD's in the potent Houston attack.
Just something to consider...
I have the doomsday device!
