Hi I have a trade question. I have both Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson at rb. A guy in my league wants me to trade him either Chris Johnson or Peterson. He is offering me both Brandon Marshall and Roddy White in return for 1 of them. what do you think?
Hope you find the answers you are looking for and hang out for a while. It's a great community.
To get to your question: It kind of depends on the rest of your WR and RB depth and the number of starts required at each position. On the surface the deal looks like it could help you, but if you trade AP and you have to start Larry Johnson every week, than it might make your team worse off.
Can you post your roster here?

How many teams are in the league? Regardless, having the 2 best RBs in the league and being able to keep them both is a huge advantage. Like mentioned the more info we have the better response, but I think you need to at least get a decent RB and a top WR for either of them
Thanks 4 the warm welcomes. Here is my roster. We are a 12 team league and can play 1 rb if we want and up to 4 wrs. Lisa, you don't need to make this deal and here's why;
You have the #1 and #2 Fantasy RB's on your roster with AP and Chris Johnson. You also have the consensus #1 WR with Andre Johnson. And you have a solid, top-10 WR in DeSean Jackson that is still very young and has not yet seen his best seasons.
That's pretty awesome for a keeper league.
So I don't see how you could improve on this team by trading one running back for two more receivers. It would give you five potential keepers, and you can only keep four.
So you would end up throwing Jackson, Brandon Marshall or Roddy White back into the draft.
So, essentially you are still getting one receiver for either AP or Chris Johnson -- and that is not a good deal.
Stand pat with this roster and look for the best QB available in your draft and you should have no trouble competing for your league championship in 2010.
The only way you should consider dealing either of your stud RB's would be if you were getting a stud QB like Rodgers, Brees, P. Manning or Rivers in return -- AND a draft pick as well.
odd seeing a league that you can start 4 WR's and only 1 RB.
IT is a legit offer but leaves you with big issues should whoever you keep go down. I would be looking at grabbing a WR/RB for one of your backs if you can only start 1 RB. Something like a White and Beanie combo.
