a guy in my league is shopping michael turner. it is a 16 team, TD heavy, 3 keeper leauge. He really likes his WR's and is thinking of keeping Pierre Thomas, since he figures he can ge the most for Turner. I'm sure someone will give their 1st rd. pick for him. should that someone be me?
My keepers for now would be: Shonn Greene, Roddy White and Antonio Gates. I have the 2nd overall pick in the draft and would probably either land a rookie with upside( probably one of the top RB rookies) or a veteran outside the top 40 (someone of Felix Jones, Matt Forte, Brandon Jacobs, Hines Ward, Tony G, Bowe or Ochocinco caliber or Qb's like Romo, Schaub). Is turner worth sacrificing my 1st rd pick. (I do have 3 picks in the 4th rd. but by then you are looking at the top 96 being gone)
Should i keep Greene, White and Gates and add with someone like- Ryan Matthews (R), Matt Forte, Ochocinco, Jason Witten caliber in the 1st rd. Or trade my #1 and go into the draft with Turner, Greene, White and not draft til rd. #2 someone like: Santana Moss, Lee Evans, Santonio Holmes caliber?
having 4 guys in the top 50 may be better than having 3 in top 30 and then nobody after that until say #100. but can i pass on a chance to land Turner? thoughts?
