Thanks for all the input. It's been very helpful. I started exploring trade options with Green and no one has shown much interest in trading for a 1st or 2nd round pick, but I did get this offer: Green for Calvin Johnson. My first thought was to take the deal, but I wanted to get some more input from you guys first.

If you love Calvin I would give my blessing on the trade. Personally, I think Greene has the higher upside and have him ranked a little higher accordingly... but there's not a huge difference in value IMHO.
wow. thats a great trade in my book. I fully expect lions to step up their game this year.
maybe you can get a 1st or second round for Calvin Johnson? see if other teams will give you a 1st or second round for Calvin. Id rather have calvin than greene as a keeper anyway, but thats just my opinion.
RBWHORE you just lost your life. Shonn Green won't be a top 10 rb? Seriously?
Jets o-line is built to the wall. They are a run first, 2nd, and 3rd team. Combine that with their insane defense. The offense will be on the field much more. LT at best is going to be a breather for Green. He had his shot last year, while he piled up a decent td total he is not what he used to be. Maybe you should go back and watch the Jets playoff games. Kid has suprising speed and there will be plenty of carries for Green to be a top 10 back barring injury.
Defenses are going to be worn down with this running attack.
dude this topic is way over. you just dug it up from the grave.
he wont be a top 10 back year.
over 25% of his yards came from a horrible raiders run defense. he also lost 4 fumbles. the playoffs dont count in fantasy either, hmm santonio holmes did amazing post season remember? what did he do the following year? nothing.
i like greenes speed and running, but he isnt a top 10 back this year. Also there are 3 healthy backs and possibly 4 if leon gets on his feet. compared to 2 last year, and rex ryan isnt going to run the ball as many times as he was last year either.

RBwhore has established that he is not a Greene fan. Using logic in your argument does no good.
By the way RBWhore -- Leon Washington is a Seattle Seahawk.
i was convinced he was still a jet because thanks to a couple of well known fantasy sites...they kept talking about him returning to a 4th RB on the jets after he heals..lol

Ahahaha, I do see a trend here Indi. Some people can see talent, some can not....
BTW you think that the Jets signing of holmes makes them a passing team all of a sudden? It will only help the running game keeping the secondary honest and not stacking the box to stuff the run... Simple football RBWhore.

They are going to run less this year. They want to put more focus on the passing game. This was said a few times this offseason by Rex Ryan himself, and the GM Mike Tannenbaum. This is also why they added some some new lineman who specialize in pass protecting more than run blocking
what does that mean to you?
does that mean they want to run the ball more? Dont tell me Simple football, you dont even know what the heck you are talking about, at least the others who are debating me make alot of sense in their arguements.
If your going to argue with me, at least have some sort of facts to back it up. all you say is *they will do it this way* with no facts behind it.
