gore/boldin for kolb/charles/vernon?

took over for this team yesterday. i will only post possible keepers

QB: Smith

RB: Gore, Benson, LT, michael bush

WR: Steve Smith (CAR),Greg Jennings, Boldin, Malcolm Floyd

TE: Carlson

Guy offered me Kevin Kolb, Jamaal Charles, Hines Ward (who i dont want, will probably ask for a pick instead), and vernon davis or jason witten for gore and boldin

i figure if i take the offer, i keep kolb, charles, benson, jennings, and vernon/witten.

should i accept it and if not, are there any players i have that i should try to get rid of while i can?

also, i have the #2 overall pick, which i could use on dez bryant or someone to replace boldin.

Yup, have to pass on this but I see why you were interested. Kolb is the hot new QB to own, Vernon put up huge numbers last year and Charles has skill. IF all 3 hit, you would be a genius. I think it is closer than the others but would still pass. See if the other owner will toss in a pick.

another owner has come to me with something a little more extreme

nothing has been really offered yet but he has brady, manning, roddy, vjax, moreno, and gates. he is basically looking at a deal that includes manning and moreno for my gore and benson. that is NOT the trade, that's just the basic outline of it.

any ideas? will edit this post after an actual deal gets offered

Even worse deal for you. Unfortunately you do not have the RB depth to deal 2 for 1 at RB. Yeah, it would be nice to get a top tier QB but it is something you can live without this year.

thought id give a quick update

i have another guy interested. he has manning, moreno, roddy white, VJax, antonio gates on his team.

He really wants gore and benson. i know it gives up my 2 top RBs, but but hes willing to basically give up everyone. he would give me manning, moreno, roddy, and antonio for the 2. if i got them, then maybe i could trade steve smith or anquan boldin to get the #1 overall, where i could take ryan mathews and like dez bryant... or just hope ryan falls to me at #2.

also made an offer of moreno and gates for benson OR roddy for benson

V jax is facing a 4 game suspension and he is also threatening to hold out till he gets a long term deal...

your getting manning which is great, but your giving up 2 rbs.

i also dont really like the first deal only cause i vaule smith the same as kolb. lets not also forget vick could be stealing TDs from kolb this season

if i accepted this and the benson for gates+moreno my roster would be:

QB: kolb
RB: moreno and gore
WR: jennings, smith (CAR), boldin
TE: gates

id try to trade 2 WRs for a top tier WR

I would accept the Kolb trade, I think he is going to be the real deal.
