Early look at Dynasty Prospects: Year of the WR

lol... yeah, I love cutting deals with you sometimes. Gimme that rookie! GIMME THAT ROOKIE! You always have the youngest team by far and the strangest part is you always seem to trade all your picks away during the season and then at the time of the draft have more than anyone. Haven't figured out how you manage that feat.

Viscious cycle I swear I'm trying to get better at that, but it's kinda just how it ends up.


I was looking back at some of the picks in last years rookie draft, and it's kinda why you want to stockpile rookie picks any and everywhere. There were TONS of misses in rounds 2-3 last year, hell even the 1st round had it's share of misses, but the 4th round had these gems:


Austin Collie
Mike Wallace
Johnny Knox
Arian Foster



I'm probably missing a few more, but most of those guys are better then anyone available a few rounds earlier, which is why the more picks you have the better your chance is at getting lucky, because if anyone thought 1 of those guys would be as valuable as they were no way they would have lasted that long.

I liked that top article Lung, Locker hasn't impressed me all that much this year, at least not to the extent that Luck and Mallett have. I have Locker firmly 3rd behind those 2 for sure.


Also, probably gonna do a stock update once September is over, but LaMichael James is gonna be added to my 1st round watch, dude is a beast. His frame leaves some to be desired so you don't know that he'll be more then a KR specialist or not but he's at least a better prospect then Noel Devine at this point.
