Insane Trades Accepted. Choose FOR ME!

Postby RBManiac » Sat Jun 19, 2010 12:38 am

my 10 team 1/ppr 3 keeper league, i sucked it up and did a very sneaky move to try and win my league

I just got rid of all of my possible keeper WRs for picks. Rice, and V-Jax for a 1st round 1.1, and Jennings with my extra 5th round pick for 1.2

my keepers

QB
QB
RB D. Will
RB Pierre Thomas
WR/RB Hakeem Nicks
WR
WR
WR
WR/TE
TE
k
def
Bench(7)

This was a really gutzy move, but might benefit me...I know have the first 3 picks in the first round in my draft without losing picks in other rounds since ihad an extra 5th round

1.1
1.2
1.3

Im big on nicks to post big numbers this year

But the risky moves i did can prove to be better for me. Now I have the choice to grab any 3 of these guys the first round

Ryan Mattews, Shonne Greene, Jammal Charles, Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Roddy White

The only reason Andre Johnson, Marshall are not being Keeped by teams is cause I just gave all the teams in need what they needed, and now they dont need those guys for picks forcing the original owners to drop them...it was a sick sneaky move i pulled. The person who has andre offically declared he is keeping MJD, Ray Rice, and Rodgers, the person with Marshall Is keeping Chris Johnson, AP, and Brees.

I know..im jealous of their keepers too

I have a really tuff choice to make this round

which 3 should i take ?

Ryan Mattews, Shonne Greene, Jammal Charles, Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Roddy White

I was thinking I can do a sick move and take Mattews, Greene, and Charles, and dominate at running back. or I can Take AJ, Marsh, and white and Dominate at reciever, and try to get Tate in the second round, and forsett later on.

If i get the recievers..

I have 4 everyweek starters, and i will simply dominate. If i grab the RBs, then everyone will be grabbig whatever RBs are left early, and maybe i can reach for sims walker in the second

help me..lol

I think you go 1 RB 2 WR to even your roster out. While Matthews is tempting I'm not sure I'd go with him as that's a pass first offense. I like Greene and the run first Jets. With the other 2 picks I go AJ and Wayne, no question.

1 and 2 are a cinch, take Marshall and AJ. Both of those guys caught 100 passes last year and have an edge in PPR. Wayne is also a 100+ catch guy, but being a keeper league, go with Marshall since he's younger. That should give you one of the better 1-2 WR punches in your league.

I wouldn't even consider Greene in a PPR. He has only caught 1 career pass. He should put up solid yardage and TD's, but you'll be losing a lot of reception production.

I could still see going Reggie Wayne since you can start up to 5 WR, but you should add some depth at RB. Charles had 40 catches last year and has high upside but some uncertainty this year.

For me it's a coin toss between Charles and Reggie Wayne.

hmm..im still not sure.

I will get AJ..thats a must, but im so tempted to grab 2 RBs with it.

I offered a 1st and 2nd round and Pierre thomas for Chris Johnson...that got turned down with a counter offer...he wants all 3 of my first rounds for CJ. essentially, I get CJ! but im passing up on loading up my roster with monsters. not sure

You have to draft two WRs IMHO because you HAVE to start 4 WRs and you can start as many as 6. Nicks makes for a nice upside WR3. With Matthews, you get the consensus #1 rookie RB and fill that first flex spot.

To borrow from the poker vernacular, you went all-in on this draft class... you really can't miss on any of your picks. The 3 that I recommended have the best combination of production/opportunity/youth/upside/lowest chance to bust. Good luck.

thank you,

im sealed on AJ and mattews,

ill make my final choice of reciever between marshall and white.

I think i can grab Sims-walker the second round, a top TE the 3rd, and then ill shoot for QBs, then backups

i should dominate in every area cept for Qbs.

AJ and Matthews are correct and it is a coin flip between Marshall and White. Indibuck likes White and I would take Marshall but I don't think you can go wrong wither way.

Id take these 3
AJ-top WR, no brainer
Roddy-i like him better than Marshall. BM is a head case and not sure how he'll fit in miami, but Roddy is only going to get better as Matt Ryan improves.
J.Charles-TJ is going to cut into his carries 1 year max, even so, has tons of upside
