I definitely wouldn't take either over Turner or CJ! Too much hype IMO. I don't draft players that are rookie or 2nd year players that people place that much hype on. Any Forte or Slaton owners last year that want to attest to that? LOL

Matthews at #16 makes him a middle-of-the-pack RB. Considering that the Chargers are a perennial contender, traded up to draft Matthews, have pledged to the run game, and that Matthews only has Darren Sproles to compete with for carries -- I don't think he's overhyped.

There are no guarantees in life or fantasy football. Maybe Matthews will be ordinary. But, if he's not, it's unlikely you will get another crack at him in a keeper league.

This is the kind of dilemma that makes fantasy football fun. If you take the plunge on Matthews and it works out, you get the bragging rights and he becomes your favorite NFL player. If not, oh well -- back to the drawing board.

As for Shonn Greene -- there might be some hype on him given that he didn't get the chance to show much last year. But when he did, he was a monster in the NFL playoffs. A lot of people are drinking the Jets' Kool-Aid this summer so that explains the love for Greene. One thing to consider is the Jets' second half schedule has virtually no competition After hosting the Vikings week 5, their next tough defense is Cincy at home Thanksgiving night. And Greene ran all over the Bengals in the playoff game last year.

Greene's another player that you may not get a chance to acquire after this draft -- ke could be kept for several seasons if he ends up meeting his potential.
I have the doomsday device!

With Gore as your RB1 and the ability to start a RB at flex I think you need to go RB with the first pick.

I can buy into this list. Mathews is a rookie, but there is so much hype there and the feedback coming out of this offseason has been solid. He's in a great situation, and although he didn't have stellar receiving numbers in college, there were enough catches there to show that he should have value in a PPR. If he lives up to the hype, he will be a great value in a keeper league.

Calvin Johnson still hasn't reached his full potential in my opinion, and he remains an injury watch on my list, but I expect him to return to the top 10 this season.

Greene is absolutely dead last, especially in a PPR. I have a bad feeling about him this season, and he only has 1 career reception which came during the postseason. I expect he'll eventually see some receptions, but not enough to be a valuable PPR back.
