12 man league with 3 keepers, but each keeper costs you a round higher than where they were selected last year. I am keeping Ryan Grant for a 15th rd. and Steve Smith of NYG with my last pick. I can keep one more and had both Eli and Favre to end the year. Both were drafted in the 9th round last year, neither by me
QB were just devalued this year and a TD pass is now worth 4 (-1 for picks) as opposed to 6 (-2 for picks) last season. So, in essense, a good TD to interception ratio is more important this year.
My other options for keeping are: Santonio Holmes for a 6th Percy Harvin for a 4th Tony Gonzalez for a 4th Kellen Winslow for a 9th (another good option) Earl Bennet for a 14th Harry Douglas for a 16th
QB: BREES, Cutler RB: TURNER, MCGAHEE, R. JENNINGS, Leshoure, D. Williams, Hillman, Hunter, Dwyer WR: CRUZ, GARCON, Amendola, Edwards, D. Baldwin TE: GRAHAM
None of your options are great but for me it comes down to Holmes for a 6th or Harvin for a 4th. I personally would keep Harvin. The 4th is actually a 7th so it is fair value and he has the most upside.

Yes, I realize I ain't sitting pretty but those are my options or I could just keep 2 and draft 15 players. The more I think about it the more I am leaning towards Winslow.
Where is Douglas on the Falcons depth chart? How is he coming along after the injury? I picked him up before the last game hoping he'd be worth keeping. Before last season they were expecting big things for him and to be the deep threat for ATL. If things are looking good I may take a chance on him. Anybody heard?

I like Manning to start to figure it out this year, he might be a good spot starter, you did say qb was de-valued so maybe you can make Eli and a late rounder work.
The more I think about it Favre had 33 and 7 last year, great numbers for either scoring system, even better with the new system, do you really see him dropping off that much? When he has always gotten himself into trouble is when the play breaks down he gambles, that didn't happen to often in the regular season but did in the Saints game and I am thinking he is going to be extra cautious this season and throw it away even more.
Manning was phenominal for 5 weeks and then was avg. at best and will probably come cheaper than Favre. The QB I really want is Rivers. Everybody talking easy schedule and an unproven running back. Maybe I can work out a trade.

Favre is the answer here. if he comes back he'll produce. if you have to decide now i think he'll come back. if not i still wouldnt really want Eli, maybe holmes. you can draft eli in the 8th again.

He'll be back. I never even took that into consideration! If there is a real chance he might not return then I guess will get my TE spot taken care of with Winslow.
