For the privilege of getting CJ (and a throwaway pick and a throwaway player), you are being asked to give up:

2 young potential stud RBs in Mendy and Beanie.
A high-upside potential WR in Floyd, especially if Vincent Jackson holds out.
Your first round pick next year.

CJ makes your starters very strong -- but zaps you of your depth -- which makes it less likely for your team to make a championship run IMHO.

I would pass on this deal and wait until you get into the season if you want to look at trades.

Well anytime you can get a stud rb you have to give up a lot to get him. I don't have a problem with the trade, you just would then have to hope for no injuries because of your lack of depth. I don't see Mendenhall going crazy this year, he hasn't done it yet and has been given the shot, but if Beanie can stay healthy he could be a good rb. I see Beanie however sharing carries with Hightower and his touches being limited to 1st and 2nd downs. If it is me I go for it but I would try and make it he gets the higher of the two 1st rd draft picks and you get the lower one and maybe throw in your 2nd rd.

I would have to say no to this deal.......

Having Mendy/Wells/Greene
vs
CJ/Greene

is enough let alone Floyd and the picks....

CJ plays 6 games this year 10-16...minimum to ge this service Time......you could be stuck with Greene as your only back....yuk...

thinking guys are going to hold hard this year with the labor problems...they want their cash....and risk of injury to great without.

Good Luck....
