The Declaration of Independence

As I do every 4th of July, I just read The Declaration of Independence. Guys, that thing is hardcore. It was radical, and basically gave the finger to the most powerful nation in the world. In part, they tell King George: "A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

On this great day in our nations history, I encourage people to read what Thomas Jefferson wrote and these men signed.

No fireworks here. Local ban due to the drought. So it'll be grilling, euchre, and cornhole with friends. Not too bad at all.
