Texas Tech is looking to expand their stadium, and they've created a couple of renderings of what the new digs might look like. Bear with me for the HUGE size of these two pics, but there's something awfully familiar about them. See if you can figure it out. http://www.depts.ttu.edu/communications/stadium/images/stadium-expansion.jpg
Notice in this image how the aisles in the crowd don't quite line up to the angle of the stadium. Weird, huh?
Now check out rendering #2, and pay particular attention to the bloke in the foreground with his hand on his white hat. That TT logo doesn't look very natural, does it? Now look about six or seven guys to that guy's left and find the guy with the red cap on backwards. http://www.depts.ttu.edu/communications/stadium/images/stadium-2.jpg
Here's a cutout for you:http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r237/knapplc/stadium-2Highlight.jpg
Check out the guy on the far left of this pic. See the hat? See the N?
Did you notice that the fans in these stands aren't even wearing Texas Tech Red Raider red?
And now, the source of Texas Tech's pic:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a3/091507-USCNeb-MemorialStadium.jpg
EDIT - changed the pics to links. They were just too huge.
EDIT#2 - Just read that Texas Tech didn't do these renderings, the architect firm did. Still, they should know better than to use crowd images from a conference rival.
