Those are the facts. People who rip Charles because of his easy second half 2009 schedule, aren't realizing that his 2010 schedule is almost exactly the same.
All those soft run defenses again, plus new additions in the Rams (27th against the run in 2009) and Colts (24th). The only top 10 run defenses he'll face all year are the Titans (10th), 49ers (6th), and Texans (10th). That's it. Everyone else is in the bottom half of the league. According to fftoolbox.com, Kansas City has the easiest schedule as far as fantasy RBs are concerned.
So, unless you think the majority of those teams are suddenly going to turn it around on defense...his schedule is even more of a reason to draft him, not avoid him.
