I'm in a 10 team dynasty league, standard scoring, 6pts all tds, 0.5 ppr, we start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 2 idp's. I have a really good team, but my weak spot is my qb, should I try and upgrade or just ride it out play the hot hand / matchups. We have a rookie / free agent 3rd draft upcoming, I don't have a 1st rd pick, only 2.6 and 3.6 picks. Here is my roster and what I think of my qb's. wr- Fitz, Colston, Calvin, S. Rice, Schielens, M. Massaquoi rb- AP, D. Will, Benson, R. Brown, M. Bush, C. Taylor, Caddy, B. Scott te- D. Clark, O. Daniels k- Longwell idp- Willis, Beason, Ryans
QB's - Palmer- he is my most talented qb, was injured in 08, off year in 09, but now has the weapons and a running game, will he get back to his old form, if he does, then I am set E. Manning- played well last year, they seemed to pass more than run last year, can he do it again? Ryan- is coming into his 3rd year, should grow as a qb this year, he has the running game, a quality #1 wr with White and still a top te with Gonzo, he still threw 22td's while missing 3games
Possible trade / draft targets: P. Manning- owner's team is junk, I could offer a rb and a pick of my qb's for him K. Kolb- is a free agent, would have to trade into the first rd to get him Flacco- owner has Brady, could probably make a move for him, is he an upgrade with his improved offense?
It's a tough spot to be in. I was there last year and dealt Jacobs/Bowe preseson for Rivers. I went 12-1 and won the league but it wasn't needed. League has been aaround for 6 years and I have been in the championship game every year so you can do it without QB's. I lucked into Jacobs and Bowe having down years but I seriously overpaid at the time cause I could afford to. I think Ryan will be fine but if you can get Manning cheap enough then do the deal.
All three of your QB's can have a huge game at anytime. It is a nice position to have depth but I hate playing matchups w/o a true #! QB. Unless you can get Manning cheap I would stay put.
Yeah, I think I would stay put with what you have, unless you want to try and pick up kolb in the draft. But then you'd have essentially 4 2nd tier QB's. I think Palmer and Ryan should give you enough flexibility to keep you competitive this year.
"We couldn’t do diddley poo offensively, we couldn’t make a first down, we couldn’t run the ball, we didn’t try to run the ball, we couldn’t complete a pass - we sucked."
So now with T.O. in Cincy I would think that Palmer's stock must be going up somewhat. If all there wr's stay healthy than you have Chad 85, T.O., Bryant (the biggest health risk), Gresham, a improved running game with Benson and a quality 0-line. So to me I would think that Palmer can easily get back to his old self, throw for 3800+ yards and 25+ tds this coming year. So that should make me much tougher at qb. Any thoughts on Palmer?
I think you are solid, unless you can make a big move (Brees/Manning/Rodgers). I would see if one of those owners might be desperate for a RB and offer Ronnie Brown, Eli, and picks. I also think now is the time to trade Benson, so if you coud deal he and scott in that package and get one of the big 3 and a wr in return, that might be worth it. Just some thoughts.

I would actually see if you can get Manning or even try and snag Romo. I would even maybe offer one of your stud WR or a RB plus a lesser QB to get Romo. I'm pretty high on him this year.
I think your position is decent. Ryan is young and has a good young WR to throw to. Eli is in a good situation with some good young WR's. Eli could throw for 4000 any given year. Palmer should get a bump with TO now but still as your 3rd QB is good.
