Standard scoring with a bonus for anything over 175 yards rush/receiving. No PPR.
I'm leaning toward CJ over AP, but history doesn't thank a 2,000 yard back the next year. I know this guy is electric though, he can score from anywhere at anytime.
CJ Pros-
Fastest man with the ball in his hands. He IS Tenn offense. He has gold teeth. (ok, that's a joke) Easier schedule on paper. VY stepped up at end of year, opening the box for CJ possibly.
AP Pros-
Mr Consistent Vikes should score a lot of points, mostly by AP Turned into a decent pass catcher Has a chip on his shoulder.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated! I think this could be a great thread to be honest.

I am one of the few that has AD #1. A little homerism but mostly just cause the guy is that good. He is a true throwback beast. CJ flat out won me leagues last year but I still do not think he is hte 2nd coming like alot have annointed him. HE is a tremendous talent but he can be shut down.
I have the first pick in a similar 10 team league. I'm trying to decide what my strategy is for picks 20-21 & 40-41. These picks will be crucial with the longs waits in between.
I would personally try to trade down to the 3 spot and draft Jones-Drew. I would do it if you could possibly swap 2nd round picks. But, if you keep the #1 pick I would go with Peterson.
would you really want to risk being wrong about CJ having another monster year ? AP was good but not 1st rd. 1st pick material l/y

I know that CJ is electric and has the ability to score from anywhere at anytime, but I wouldn't bank on him and I prefer AP over him(and I have AP in my dynasty league, so I'm biased). But the odds of CJ breaking off several long td runs again aren't as high. Think of D. Williams from the 08' season, he broke or tied the record for td runs of 20+ yards, it is a tough thing to do and will be tough for CJ to repeat his 7 runs of 40+ yards this season. I prefer to stick with the consistent runner and I'm sure that AP has worked on his ball control all off season and should repeat his performance. Good luck.
With the 1:01 I'm going Chris Johnson. But I would not hesitate to trade it for #2 and take peterson.
I would see how bad #2 wants #1. Fake like you are grabbing his guy to make him want to deal. Trade 1st's and 2nd's (you get the guy you want and pick before him on the wrap). Then make him swap you 4ths and 6ths so you get to pick before him there to.
Cool, thanks! Due to my man crush on MJD, I've been talking to the number 3 owener about a flip flop in 1 and 2 and his 3rd (ealier in round) for my 4th (late in round).

I agree about trading down to 2 or 3. If you stay at 1, I have to go CJ. Favre is going to eat up AP's scores. He'll throw 2 a game and Harvin and Rice are stepping up. The same can't be said about VY and the Titan's O. Bottom line, MINN scores more but the scores are going to be distributed. I hear you about back-to-back years and the CJ 2000 thing, but don't over-think it. Sounds like you are on the fence about 1, 2, 3 so talk to 2 and 3 and if you really feel there is marginal to no difference at all then make a deal. Good luck and thanks for the help on mine.
