First offseason after my first yr in a keeper league. We keep 4 players (3 regular keepers plus one sophmore player). I had no intention of keeping Roddy White, so I packaged him and my 6th round pick, #58, for a 4th rounder, #35. How'd I do? I knew I had to get something for White, but I'm no't sure if that was good enough value. Thanks for your input!
I mean, you have to get as much value as you can in these situations and you did move up quite a bit. My concern would be if you strengthened your competition through this move. I think you had to do it though.

I agree with Niner. I never worry about bolstering someone elses team if it makes mine better. You can only focus on yours. Who knows whats going to happen to the other guys team. Only thing you have control over is putting the best players on the field.

yeah i wasn't worried about the other team. he's in pretty bad shape (which is why he's trading picks for players). just wasn't sure how picky i should be regarding the return on players. thanks to all for your input!!
Roddy White is a top 10 WR you should have done better than a 4th rounder in my opinion. Just because you weren't keeping him doesn't mean you should be complacent, your commodity has value. Just my thoughts.

In these situations where the other team is obvious in dire need and you have a top 10 WR which he covets, I think you can do a little better than a 4th rounder. I know the last thing you want to do is give away a player for nothing but I believe that you could have got a pick a round higher or even the 2nd round if you played hardball.
