Last keeper spot advice. WHIR!

Postby ollie7585 » Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:04 pm

Hey guys,

I'm in a 12 team, 10 keeper non-PPR league. 2RB/3WR. I'm keeping the following nine guys:

Ryan

Rice
Greene
Thomas
McCoy

Fitz
White
CAR Smith

Finley

The question is who do I keep with my 10th spot? Roethlisberger, Winslow, and Aromashodu all seem like possibilities. I have 3 of the first 11 picks and 8 of the first 41 if that has any impact.

Thanks!

Keep Aromashadu. I think all three of those guys are hit or miss and you won't be starting them anyways...so, keep the guy who could have some super upside!

Yeah either what the guy ahead of me said or if you think you could get some trade bait with Ben down the line.

Since it is such a deep keeper league, I'd think about Roethlisberger. I'm guessing QB depth is pretty awful in this league and Roethlisberger is a top 10 QB when not sexually assaulting college women so keep that in mind. Somewhere down the line you should be able to package Roethlisberger or Ryan and maybe Steve Smith for a better WR or RB. I can't see you doing that with any of the other options.

Big Ben. You have options in the draft with all those picks. When Big Ben comes back after 4 games you will be in a position of power. After week 4, Big Ben becomes whoever you want in a trade. A top 8-10 QB in a deep league can become a starting WR or RB.
Good luck, mine;

I'd keep Big Ben. Due to # of teams and # of keepers I guess QB is thin.

I would have to keep Big Ben based on the scarcity of QB.

Big Ben. I don't see the other 2 being much more then depth at this point for you. You have solid WRs and TE anyway. Big Ben will be a very solid backup or starter over Matt Ryan after week 4 anyway. Ryan kinda collapsed down the stretch last year so you may really want Big Ben if Ryan falters again.

Help with Mine?
