What kind of league are you talking about? Or are you asking in general?
For a dynasty team, he is worth drafting. Good potential and little competition = opportunity.
Redraft he has little value on all but the largest of leagues.

What Williams needs is to keep his head on straight and hope that whoever ends up winning the QB spot throws well enough to make a TB WR worth rostering.

He could easily lead the Bucs in receiving this year. I've been taking him super late as a WR5 or WR6 and love his upside especially where I am getting him (rounds 15+).

Also I didn't know there was a competition for our starting QB mooch?

Freeman's job to lose, but I didn't see much from him that suggests he isn't fully capable of losing the job. Hope I am wrong. How's Caddy looking?

no way Freeman doesn't start all 16 games this year (besides injury). It's his job all year long if he stays healthy.

He was a rookie QB, judging from some of your post about young QB's I think you expect too much lol. Did you not catch the TB vs GB game? That's all I want to see from my rookie QB, show me some flashes of being a great QB, and he led a few great drives late in the game and put some throws right on the money. I mean, he didn't look awesome but he was a very raw QB coming out who needed to develop but wasn't given the time too, he's gonna be the starter no matter what next year, no matter how bad, he would have to be injured to be taken out of the line-up. You don't just take your franchise QB out of the line-up and bench him in his 2nd season before he even plays a full season, that would be unheard of.

As far as Mike Williams, I'm a very huge fan, and he's my #2 WR rookie WR this season. I tried to land him in as many drafts as I could. i just think his character issues are minimal but he's a 1st round talent, has an easy route to be the #1 WR, looked great so far in OTA's, is a better talent then Arrellious Benn and I have my questions on if Benn will develop how people expected.

There's just alot I like about him. Demaryius Thomas physically is better, but he came from a triplle option while MW was in a pro style offense so Thomas needs to learn to run all the routes, McDaniels acts like he wants to run a WR shuffle for even the #1 guy, and I don't think Tebow is going to be a fantasy friendly guy to help your WR out.

I just see him and see a guy who is going to develop into a stud at WR very soon. I even get him late in redrafts because he's going to lead the Bucs in yards and TD's this season IMO, call it a hunch or whatever but from everything I've seen, read, and liked about him before I think he'll be the next big thing and his rookie season will go a long way towards making people a believer.

M-Dubs has been great through the pre-season. I can see a 1,000 yard year from him in 09.

In 3009?? Guess you have to draft him with confidence in a dynasty league, eh? ;-)

I like him too as a flyer. WR1 rookies with upside aren't bad to have as a WR3.

mike williams will easily be the leading reciever in Tampa Bay. There is no competition for him...lol

You know there is very little Wide Recievers who put up WR1 numbers their rookie year.
The ones that do are usually the ones who come on to the field being the teams number 1 reciever.

Here is a list of some who have put up WR1 totals their rookies year

Randy Moss - 98
Anquan Boldin - 2003
Marques Colston - WR1/2 -2006
Dwayne Bowe - High end WR2 2007
Eddie Royal - High end WR2 - 2008
Crabtree - 2009 would of been WR1/2 numbers if he didnt hold out

I fully expect Mike Williams to have high end WR2 numbers this year or better. Like all of the recievers above in their rookie seasons, Mike Williams starts off the year being the best on their team.
