Interesting read for sure. I will keep the guy on my radar. The thing is, I can see the person who drafts MJD will also draft Jennings as a handcuff.

Meanwhile, I can get Karim if I have the extra space and stash him.

The Jaguars are the new Giants. These guys know how to draft RBs. I wouldn't be surprised to see both Jennnings and Deji Karem as starters in this league a few years from now. Both of these players are high upside dynasty picks. Redraft it doesn't really make sense to pick either one simply because MJD is there and you've got two young guys as backups that are both good players and have different types of running styles. Reminds me of a Derrick Ward/Ahmad Bradshaw type backup stable, except MJD is a different class of runner as Brandon Jacobs.

Too bad for them they didn't also receive the Giants ability to draft defensive players. :-b

We'll see. Knighton and Cox last year were absolute steals. If this draft pans out as good as last year, I'd say our FO has a pretty nice nose for draft talent(for any position).

Just to put a nice little bow on this thread....

Rookie RB/KR Deji Karim will miss the rest of the preseason after undergoing surgery on his left thumb Tuesday.

The Jaguars are targeting "some point within the first quarter of the season" for Karim's return. Kolby Smith has a chance to stick as the third running back, and Cornerback Scotty McGee will likely hold down kickoff returns until Karim returns. Rashad Jennings has emerged as a clear-cut "handcuff" to Maurice Jones-Drew.
